FAQ: How is it possible to determine exposure levels from a photo?
Admittedly, it is difficult to explain using classical science, but empirically it can be repeated with accurate results by any trained individual. To explain it scientifically, we must refer to quantum physics, more specifically to Bell’s theorem:
The EPR paradox is based on the idea of quantum entanglement. It describes a thought experiment in which two particles are created in a common quantum mechanical state and then separated far apart. The authors showed that by measuring one particle, the state of the second particle can be determined immediately – regardless of how far apart the two particles are. This is “entangled”, i.e., in constant connection with the particle in the patient’s body from which it was “emitted”.
